Drone Life
I have recently fallen in love with drones and capturing videos and pictures with my drones. We are beginning to introduce drone footage to our website and in our business for the benefit of our clients. Our clients love the fact that we can now take arial photos and videos of their project. We can take before and after photos, videos, and take shots throughout to see how the project is taking shape. We are very excited about this added feature of our business.
The two pictures above are pictures of some work we did in Orangeville, On. We did some roof repairs, redid the pine siding on the front dormer, and built the front and back decks. The customers were not only very happy with the work, but also very excited to get some pictures from the air of their home.
Below are two pictures of another deck we built and a wooden staircase from the front of their house to the driveway. We were also able to take a 10 minute video for the customer of their home and property. I received a call from them a few days later saying they had watched the video over 6 times, they just loved it.

My Best Drone Advice
I am not a drone professional yet, but its definitely becoming a passion for me. I have done hours and hours of research, and I have spent hours and hours of time flying different drones. I know this website is designed for my construction business, however I just can't help but talk about drones as well, and since they are becoming a "tool" for us on our job sites, I figured, why not? Below I will discuss different drones at different price points. There are many, many different drone companies out there. DJI however is the best! They are the leaders in drone technology and have been for years. Other companies have vey good products too, but in my research and my experience DJI is the best for the price. Below my drone reviews will also be a list of different accessories I feel are worth buying. I will point out the reasons why I feel this way. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me!
Hubsan X4
This is a fun little drone. Very inexpensive. The camera on this is definitely not great. BUT, for $35.00 it has a camera! You can throw in your own SD card and start filming. A fun drone to fly inside and practice with before moving up to a more expensive drone. I own two of these drones. Iv crashed them hundreds of times, and they hold up very well. It can even do flips and high speed maneuvers.
DJI Spark
DJI is the pioneer of drone technology. This is their entry level drone and this drone is very amazing for the price! 12MP camera, video shooting in 1080P, and with the fly more package you can fly this drone over 2KM away! Its very compact, Iv taken it with me on lots of trips, in fact I currently have it with me in Ecuador. This is the best drone out there for the price and for any amateur videographer.
